Amanda Granier, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Therapy is a deeply meaningful journey for me, and I consider it a true privilege to hold space for your unique story. I’m continually inspired by my clients and find joy in witnessing their self-discovery and growth. To me, effective therapy means guiding you through thoughtful self-reflection, recognizing both your strengths and challenges, and honoring the wisdom you’ve gained along the way. I believe this process can improve quality of life, bring hope, and restore inner peace.
As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adolescents, emerging adults, individual adults, and couples to help overcome barriers, rebuild confidence, and face each new chapter with resilience. I aim to create a confidential environment where therapy feels like a courageous step toward self-awareness and restoration.
My client-centered approach draws from a number of approaches, including Humanistic Therapy and Restoration Therapy among others. In Restoration Therapy, we explore how disruptions in identity and safety can lead to emotional disregulation, identify your pain cycle, and work toward practicing an emotionally regulating truth that fosters greater love and trustworthiness in relationships.
I also offer a Christian faith-based perspective, where we can explore your missional identity while depending on spiritual practices such as rest, humility, compassion, and hope. We recognize that we are made for relationships and that redemption is possible. Here you can be honest about your pain, lament, and mourning, fully acknowledging your sorrow, while also being expectant for the future. Together we can reflect on how we flourish and ultimately thrive.
